Only slightly related, but if you're on board the aircraft already at DFW...

Look out the right side window, forward toward the terminal. You'll see a red LED board on the outside wall. It deciphers this way (IIRC)

Flt#/Destination
Tail#/Departure time +- mins. ahead/behind sked

Think the same applies at ORD, too.
