Well, not everyone is as paranoid as you.
It goes without saying that one needs to proceed with extreme caution. My laptop is usually always with me, but if the need arises, I will not think much about using a computer in the Admiral's Club. I always remember to log out and clear cache/history.
Its unfortunate for the OP, but I consider these things to be rare and could have been avoided if he logged out. If the OP feels it was malware/spyware, he should write a note to AA informing them.
