Starwood in Orlando stinks. Pure and simple. Stayed there last week at the Dolphin - staying at a Motel6 would have been better (I am a Platinum). Hyatt is just so much better on so many levels. Just go for it! I still maintain my Platinum status with Starwood but am definitely seeing such a huge lack of service in the last 3 years that it is truly noticeable.
