Sorry to probably be the only one to disagree but I actually LIKE the old regional C seats!!

I came off a long hauler (in F) and was pretty tired for the short hop up to BKK but in terms of sleeping they are the best 'non-F' 'non-180 flat seat' biz class I have been in for a while - and I managed 1 hour's sleep.

I prefer those old SQ C seats to any of the angled lie flats like QF or TG. And the recline seems pretty generous - much better than, for example, the old MH seats before they went 'flat'. Seemed like the SQ regional C has about 45 degrees recline, compared to the MH seats which must have been about 35 or so (even though they claimed to be 45) or the CX regionals.

So I came to the conclusion that I would now take a regional SQ C over anything bar a flat CX for intra asia.

Am I the only one?? (... no sliding down the seat, no wedgies, no painful hip joint trying to sleep while not sliding anywhere...)

As for the SIN-BKK the service was flawless - but perhaps a fraction under TG. The food was a bit of a let down, tired and tough steak.
