Last year the Crowne Plaza Perth "upgraded" us (PC Gold) from a two-double-bed room to a king "riverview" room on the 3rd floor, from where you could just see the river if you jumped up and down. At check-in we asked for our original room back and were told No.
That was the last straw. Subsequently became Gold with Hhonors & A-Club instead.
