Sure.
First off, it was NOT at noon ET exactly. It was more like 12:15 ET that the $0.01 rate showed up.
So when you see all of the different rates listed, the very first rate was a $0.01 two queen bed non-smoking room, and the second rate was a $0.01 two queen bed smoking room. Below that were the other options for $70 and up.
I just clicked on the non-smoking $0.01 option and it took me to a page to enter my credit card info, and then confirmed it. It was actually pretty simple and straightforward and I didn't have to keep refreshing the page to get anywhere, other than I kept refreshing the page until the $0.01 rate showed up.
