Here, they ask me for my ID which I present and they call it in and tell them I have my driver's license and blah blah blah.
So I thought... Wow that was weird.
A month later, I take United again... And the EXACT same thing happens! And AGAIN a month later.
... is going on here? At first after some research, I thought it was a SSSS or something, but I never went through any special search procedures... Just an annoying check-in process where I have to wait in line with people who have all sorts of crazy time-consuming problems. I've luckily not missed a flight yet.
Then I thought... Maybe I'm on some watch-list.
But the thing is this NEVER happens when I take Virgin America.
So what the heck is going on here? Why has United decided to single me out that I need a special check-inp rocess?
If it was a watch list from DHS/TSA it would happen on all airlines. Have you asked why this is happening?
