Quick question about changing award
Hi,
I currently have seats in business on a SQ SIN-PEK flight in September. I am considering reworking the flight before this to arrive in DPS instead of SIN and spend a couple of days there, then continue on to SIN, since I need to be there anyway.
The way I understand it is, I could make DPS my departure, SIN a stopover, and PEK my destination. If the availability is there, I am assuming the only additional cost to me would be the reissue fee (I think something like GBP 20 and any additional taxes due to airport changes). Miles should be the same too. Also, I am hoping that I won't have to "give up" the SIN-PEK seats and hope for additional availability in order to tack on the DPS-SIN leg.
Is my understanding correct? I'd just like to have a handle on things before I call the ICC.
