Probably because of annual exam of the bus. 14 can only use the same type low height and short version of dennis trident like 15 to the peak, and NWFB doesn't order a lot of those.

It is also the type of bus when CMB put on this route, it is one of the rare front engine mounted extrememly old rebodied LX type. Powerful engine good with steep roads.
