The bacon was pretty good, from what I can remember.

BTW, if you're looking for half decent bacon, it *is* possible - I found Cumbrae do a fairly good smoked bacon, albeit a little thick for my preference (the lack of water leaching from it whilst it was cooking was reassuring). Not sure if they do mail order, but wouldn't be surprised... I've had other meats from them both at home and dining out, and they ain't bad. I still yearn for some decent dry cure back bacon from time to time, though...
