Yes. The subject has been discussed Ad nauseam. In fact only 2 or 3 days ago someone started yet another new thread on this very old topic.
You can see LAN availability via partners booking engines such as BA, CX and QF, but you still need to call AA to book and PAY the $20 phone booking fee.
