What about in the case of UDU? My GF is on an award ticket and I am on a paid ticket. We are currently sitting next to each other in E+, but I assume they would upgrade me when the window approaches. I highly doubt they would upgrade my GF since she's on an award, and also there would probably be no upgrade space left on the day of the flight. Should I call UA to remove me from the upgrade list?
