They certainly don't in the front half (or so) of the plane where the seats can be converted to club class by adjusting the width. Normally they do at the back of the plane (where there is reduced seat pitch, 31" instead of the 34" you get nearer the front).

However, some planes (not the 757) have space saver seats I understand, and I've never travelled with these so don't know I'm afraid.
