Then when I got to YYZ I had a tight connection and AC escorted me to the front of the immigration queue to give me a fighting chance to make it. They called the gate to asked them to hold the plane for me, but unfortunately they wouldn't do that and I got there two minutes after scheduled pushback time.
My day kind of went TU after that, but I have to say that AC were extremely nice to me and did their very best to help me. AC succeeded in making me feel like a valued customer and that was something I never felt on UA.
Now, I do have to say that I will not connect in YYZ to the US again unless I have at least 2.5 to 3 hours in between flights. Wow, the process for transferring there is simply horrible and hugely inefficient. is YUL or YOW any better?
The connection process to USA via YUL (and YVR) is infinitely superior than that via YYZ, assuming a connection is offered (there are simply more via YYZ). Whereas at YYZ you must wait for and pickup your transfer bags to walk them through US customs, you do not at all have to do so at YUL (or YVR).
