1. Price:
Corporate policy is cheapest flight only , generally speaking this is often BA

2. Convenient:
Live close to LHR so BA fly pretty much everywhere I go.

3. Frequent flyer program:
After working hard to get to Gold, I do like to keep the benefits.

4. British patriote:
No

5. Service:
Service is always good

6. unexplained love:
No

7. Personal touch:
no, although living near LHR , I have a few friends who work for BA

8. Terminal 5:
I do really like T5 , it works for me , getting to the point of dreading the trip round the perimeter road when I have to..

9. Lounges:
Really nice part of any trip is the 1st class lounge at T5

10. High standard of food and wine:
As I am usually down the back , have given up on the sandwiches. However , take away the cup of tea and there will be trouble, its the one thing I always enjoy, even out of the paper cup. real milk would be nice..

11. Staff posting on this forum:
no
12: Comfortable seats:
Had to travel MAD-TLV on IB last week and in comparison BA's economy is positively fantastic in comparision...

One last thing I always think of but surprisingly not on the OP's list is safety.
I flew IST-AMS with Turkish airlines a week or so before their accident their and it brought to mind the confidence that I have in BAs flight and cabin crews. This is not a criticism of Turkish or any other airline, however in the event of a crisis it is the experience and training that I have come to expect from BA that I believe makes all the difference and this does influence the choices I make.
