Of course some idiotic traffic manager shortened the connection in LAX from 1hr50 to 1hr20. IMO, that first was barely acceptable to clear border control, retrieve baggage, clear customs, recheck baggage, and then get over to the next airplane.

The new layover is clearly unacceptable and they have wasted an hour of my time rerouting myself and getting decent seats on 757s and even one of those miserable 763s on a route that was sold to me as 777s all the way ATL-LAX-SYD.
