My wait for security BOS last Friday at around noon was about five minutes. I don't know about the check-in lines, as I used the Admirals Club, but there didn't look to be a glut of AA travelers at that hour.
The line for food once past security was a different story... I waited about fifteen minutes to grab something from Burger King.
