I hope you're wrong too. I'm a first year PC member and would definitely not renew if they drop the booze. The booze is NOT free, it's included in the cost of your membership. I don't need to spend that kind of money for just a place to sit when there are plenty of seats at the airport bar and either free WiFi or I can tether using my 'berry. Others may have a different opinion, it's all in what they see as the value in PC membership.
