Interesting points.
The international boarding process has always been my biggest pet peeve with NH, both as a statusless pax and as a *G. Domestic boarding is very smooth, but when they split out the lines for international flights, it always results in a mob at the gate. I have no clue why they can't board by classes, zones or rows when UA manages to execute its complicated boarding process every day in the same terminal at NRT.
But yeah -- the most useful feature of NH Bronze seems to be the RDM bonus. I guess it isn't bad if you're a domestic flyer and want periodic lounge access or a seat at the front of coach, but otherwise it's pretty worthless.
