AirSouthwest from MAN to PLH

Just wondered if anyone had any experience on this route? I need to be in Plymouth for a couple of days and it's the choice between a 5-6 hour train journey or flying. It seems all flights stop at Bristol and on the way back we have to change planes. The prices seem quite reasonable compared to the train.

What is the check-in process like? Do they use their own desks at MAN or is it outsourced? An alternative option is to get FlyBe into Exeter, but I've seen the queues at their check-in desks and I really don't want to be in that scrum.
