From the T&Cs:

Valid on travel from the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or Canada to any United destination worldwide between April 1, 2010, and June 30, 2010.
And, of course, you never do that kind of travel.

But we all know that UA treats its overseas members as 3rd class citizens.
