The extra money will get you a more flexible ticket, better seat, better food, lounge access and more miles.
Since you will be on wide body planes the business class seats will make a difference especially for the red eye. But I guess you are the only one who knows whether all of this is worth $550.
If you only make $2000 a month I would say no. If you make $20000 a month than I'd go for it.
