Have been a long time Hertz customer and I rate their No1 Gold Club as the principal reason for staying with them. When the system works, its hard to beat. I probably rent 12-times per year.

The most recent rental was very disappointing. Picked the car up out of MEL airport. Car was a current model Ford sedan G6. These were the condition of the rear tires - both of which would not have passed any roadworthy certification.





In my mind, the car was unsafe. The traction light kept coming on even as you started to pull away from the lights (it was slightly damp).

I expect safe, reliable clean cars from Hertz and maintenance standards which ensure tyres like these never stay on a car.
