spot on. I'll keep this one for next dinner.

Back the the red badge, they make an announcement at the beginning of the flights, (at least in French), saying that the FA's wearing the red badges are here for our security.

So I first thought "oh , they are not here for the service, I see", so "what about the other ones without badge???".

Then, I have been having a closer look during each flight and could not find one FA WITHOUT the red badge....
