Trump Towers is, of course, ON the Strip, but I think you knew that.
As far as location - well, you are across the street from Encore and Wynn, and next door to Fashion Mall, but from then on, it is a bit of a walk. Then again, everything is a "bit of a walk" in Vegas, so be sure to wear those comfortable shoes!
Chance are that no matter where you stay on The Strip, you will walk more than you have in years - so Trump is really no better or worse in that regard.
For that matter, even if you stayed at the new City Center, it is one hell of a schlep just to get out of your room, through the casino, through the mall and out to The Strip - pack a lunch!
People are amazed at just how big these places are - they seem to think the hotel/casinos are about the size of the lobby at your Motel 6 - and are shocked to discover that some of them are about the size of an airport runway.
