I spent a couple nights at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa near Phoenix this past week, and you might consider that location. I'm just a Gold, so no feedback on Plat recognition but they were very nice to me and gave me an upgraded view room, and other than a cup of coffee, I didn't eat at the resort since I was working an event at a different resort where meals were provided.

The pool, golf course, and walking trails around the hotel looked really nice, and of course since it was a business trip, I didn't get a chance to use them or the spa. It's a place I'll probably try out on a personal trip the next time I can get a cheap flight to PHX and the rates are agreeable. There was some nice live entertainment in the lobby one evening, and there's a Hertz car rental agency on site. No cabs, but sedan service can be arranged for a fee.

I did notice a little bit of noise from adjoining rooms, and that's the only thing that stuck out in my mind that could have been better based on my limited time in the room. It's really sort of by it's self out in the desert with a new looking casino about a mile away. Both are just off the freeway, about 20 minutes from the airport.
