There are dedicated counters for those transiting between international and domestic flights at the main terminal (ask for directions when you are there). Very few passengers use this facility, and would probably take a couple of minutes to clear immigration. If you go through the main immigration counters, it will be a lot longer and you will actually do a long loop to your domestic gate.
