Welcome to Flyer Talk

I agree with comments above - airport and hotel lounges serve very different purposes.
An airport lounge is a sanctuary (well the best ones are) from the hubbub of the airport terminal while awaiting a departure or when just arrived (in the case of arrivals lounges). A hotel lounge is more a place to eat/snack & drink (in some hotels) before or after the day's activities.
For an airport lounge my most important amenity is a shower. This is because I'm often travelling long distances or immediately before or after a full day's work. Another important amenity are computers with internet access (and hopefully a printer too). Great staff can make a big difference especially in irregular operations (when things go wrong). Food & drink come well down the list, but are very useful before (or after in the case of arrivals lounge) an overnight flight in particular since it allows more time to sleep onboard (if not in economy).
I could go on about other preferred features. Having used well over 100 different airport lounges in well over 1000 times in total, I have a lot of firsthand knowledge about great and not so good airport lounges. However, it is probably best to see what specifically you are interested in.
