I thought it will be intresting to share with each other, the reasons you (do or don't) fly BA, I'll mention some possible reasons (it's possible you have a few reasons combined), and it will be intresting to hear different reasons not mentioned (I'll add the new reasons mentioned to this post), I started such a thread at the ELAL forum and I found some responses very intresting.

Let's try to keep this non strike related (discussing reasons why you choose BA, when they are operating to schedule).

1. Price:
You fly BA only when it's your cheaest option, on the route you wants to fly.

2. Convenient:
BA operates the most convenient flight on your wanted route, due to a direct flight, or due to convenient connection, or due to a comfortable time of the day.

3. Frequent flyer program:
You think BA's executive club program, is the best option for you, due to free flights or upgrades, or due to upgrades given due to high status, or due to their partners which you tend to use, the BA amex card might also be a considering factor.

4. British patriote (flying the flag):
You are a patriote Great Britain (proud to be an englishman), and feel so proud flying with the British flag carrier, that you are preapred to look away at other reasons which would make you choose a different airline (price, FQ program, Etc.), you also somehow feel very at home when on board a BA aircraft.

5. Service:
You think BA's service is just the best.

6. unexplained love:
You have an unexplained love for the airline, which has no explaination.

7. Personal touch:
You happen to know the Duty Managers, GA's, Pilots and/or Onboard Personnel, so even if it's not the cheapest/most convenient airline, you happen to get the 'personal' touch, due to knowing them (similar to no. 6).

8. Terminal 5:
It's something you like about terminal 5, which makes you fly BA.

9. Lounges:
You prefer the BA lounges.

10. High standard of food and wine:
You find the standard of food and wine on board BA, better than on other airline.

11. Staff posting on this forum:
The staff posting on this forum, make flying BA much easier, with plenty of advise on any complication.

12. Comfortable seats:
You find the BA seat's more comfortable than those on other airlines.

13. World traveller plus:
The world traveller plus product is something which most airlines don't have, and you prefer not to fly all the way down the back, but don't want to pay for a business class seat.

14. Saftey:
You think BA is safer than other airlines, and your first priority when flying is to get to your destination safely.

I'd suggest instead of posting just numbers (for ex. reason 2,6,9, which then akes running back to the first post checking what the no. was), you should rather post no. + title (for ex. 1. price, 5. service, 8. terminal 5 Etc.)
