After years of having Diamond status we've been downgraded to lowly Gold status, mainly due to postponing a six-week trip last year due my wife being ill ... and to reaffirm this have just received our new Gold Status cards.

We're doing that trip later this year (all being well with the wife) so will regain Diamond status, but it's going to be a strange year ... we won't actually be Diamond whilst regaining the status so will be battling against the many many Gold status people, some of whom will not have "earned" that status of course.
