Hi all,
this short message just to say that XING promotion still works.
I got upgraded even if I haven't yet my Silver card (did someone get it through this promotion?).
As I'm changing my travel patterns now having a GPP Silver card can be useful.
Personally I like the late check-out and, of course, "upgrades" (see under for the exact "wording"). But Late check-out could be already enough.

Do you know if Radisson give late check-out easily?
Last times in Budapest was always paying....but I wasn't silver

I paste here under the benefits they listed to me:
Silver
25% Points Bonus
Late check out
Best Available Room in the category booked
Special Points plus cash offers
Priority full- service Member Services telephone number
- In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, you'll also enjoy the following
Elite membership benefits:
10% off weekend rates
Complimentary bag guard
Double occupancy for a single rate

Gold
50% Point Bonus
Late Check-out
Early Check-in
Best Available Room in the category booked
72- hour availability guarantee
Special points plus cash offers
Priority full-service Member Services telephone number
-In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, you'll also enjoy the following
Elite membership benefits:
10% off weekend rates
Complimentary bag guard
Double occupancy for a single rate
Weekend Extend (2 for 1 and 4 for 2 Nights)

Well, it seems Gold users still benefit of Weekend extend!
About Silvers, I just need to understand what it means "Best Available Room in the category booked"...it is not exactly an upgrade...just a better room among those in the level I booked.
