The schedule change resulted in the equipment now being a 767-300. I did a little research and the 777-200LR is now running on the 8:40am ATL-LAX flight under #1555. Anyone know what is going on with this? The Sydney flight times have not changed on these dates.

Similarly, the 777-200LR from LAX-ATL has now changed to a 12:00 noon departure, under flight #1654.
My guess is they are using a different turn, now this 772 is feeding NRT and the SYD 772 is staying in LAX.
These changes only appear for a few months, which is stranger.

I did a bit more research on this. I THINK for at least the Month of May, DL is merely running the 777-200LR as a day turn to LAX (and thus not feeding Sydney any longer). This strange schedule currently depicts;

ATL-LAX
Dp:840am
Ar:1025am

LAX-ATL
Dp:1200 Noon
Ar:720pm

These strange turn times of the 777-200LR exist regardless of whether a domestic DL16/17 is operating. When it is operating, it is done so by a 763. I cant nail down exactly when it starts and ends, but it appears to begin in early May.
