In our household we have three card types: personal credit card, business charge card, business credit card. I verified that we have made payments through americanexpress.com to zero out the balance prior to the closing date on all three cards within the last six months. However, if I link a new bank account to a card the system will not accept an early payment from the new bank account even though it will still accept an early payment from the established bank account.
