1 hour 50 minutes should be enough time for the connection provided your BNE - SYD flight is not delayed. I would recommend getting the train which operates between T3 and T1 of SYD, they are very frequent (every 9 minutes or so between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.) and could be quicker than the shuttle bus. The train journey only takes 2 minutes.
