I was wondering if any of you have feedback on JAL's international service, and how it compares with AA.

I am interested in the following comparisions in particular:

• Quality and amenities of Lounges
• J class seats: how do they compare for recline and entertainment? Catering? Amenitiy kits? Service from cabin crew?
• Y class: how does the catering compare?
• AAdvantage credit for flights: is the complicated credit scheme a drawback? Are JAL flights eligible for the Exec Plat/Plat bonuses?
