Hi..

I'm looking to take take a flight ROC to PRG, FRA to ROC in June.
The tickets appear to be going for $1300+

I currently have 95,000 skymiles from various trips, the skymiles amex, and 25k miles transferred from the Starwood Amex(w/ bonus).

It appears that i can get that flight for 90k miles, which sounds acceptable to me given the ticket price.

Questions:
If I don't pay for the ticket, I don't get MQM, is that correct? I have 11k MQM this year, not sure if i will make it, but depending on the situation at work, i might be close. Can I book the ticket with the miles for my wife, and purchase the ticket to get the MQM?

Is there any other deals out there, that might be pertinent to the get the 2nd ticket cheaper? I think my wife has around 15k miles in her skymiles account.. I don't think it would be worth it to buy the remaining 75k miles.
