Why is UA's E- more comfortable than CO Y?

CO Y seating is the worst feature of the entire CO/OP system. The hard, uncomfortable seats about which the OPE have complained on numerous occasions, and to which we are regularly sentenced when there's no UG... we know them well.

But why is it that UA's E- seating is more comfortable? For me, the seat cushions feel thicker and more resilient, the seats are better curved and shaped for some minimal lumbar support, the angle of the headrest feels better.
