Go to street view in google maps and walk from the Trump to the strip virtually to get an idea of the distance.

Relatively speaking, you can see the Fashion Mall right beside it so it's basically like walking from one end of a mall to the other. If you're going to be walking the strip anyways, it's not a significant extra walk.

I've never made the walk myself so I'm not sure how pleasant it is. I'm curious how dated the google map images are because there seems to be a lot of construction. Trump doesn't even look finished so I'm guessing it's a bit dated.
