I've had similar experiences in the past where things just got all gummed up. My solution was to forego the Plat call center and simply call the property directly and ask for the front desk manager. They had a far better grasp on my reservations and were able to quickly advise what was going on.

I'd strongly suggest that you simply give the hotel a call and explain the tornado of confusion and ask for their assistance.
