An update on my little experience: I finally get an e-mail response from Delta and, once again, no luck. It appears the folks at Delta don't know how to read because the response was related to the Fly Drive Stay.
Let me quote my latest e-mail: "This is NOT about the Fly Drive Stay promotion."
So, I call the SM number and get a very nice, apologetic and sympathetic Agent in SLC named Sharon...she spent quite a bit of time going back and forth with a Sup. trying to find a resolution. Ultimately, she said the Sup. wanted me to fax the message I got from Hilton along with any other info I might have. It was apparent that the Sup. wasn't even aware of the program and kept trying to imply that I had misread the program and that it was 2010 promo (as in year) not a promo that was supposed to deliver 2,010 miles.
Arrgh!
I think I may call one more time and ask to speak directly with a Sup.
