Thumbs down The Incompetence is Astonishing...And I love SPG

I'm a Plat member and love SPG, but honestly, this experience with the Plat Concierge is just unbelievable...

-Called and booked 3 non-smoking rooms next week for myself and colleagues (2 rooms in my name, 1 in co-worker's name) at The Court...All set, right?

-Got confirmation email for all 3 rooms

-Called back when our work plans changed to change it from 4 nights to 3 nights. The Plat Conc said i only had 2 rooms reserved- as they cancelled out the "duplicate" room without notifying me? I never got an email - and wouldn't even have known! I've never had a problem using my name on 2 rooms? I asked him to re-instate the third room, but by then the price had gone up! I explained that was unacceptable and finally he "fixed" it.

-Noticed this morning the new room he created as a smoking room request? So i called back to change it. The Plat Conc called the hotel and came back and said they had no record of me having any rooms? Even though my confirmation # somehow pulled it up on his computer? And i can see it on spg.com. So he said he would "fix" it. I thanked him. I then got new confirmation emails, but they were back to my original 4 night dates? Wow. I asked for a supervisor and turns out i now had like 7 rooms for different days. Unbelievable. She swears she fixed it, but how can i trust her? I know I'm going to show up and it will be crazy -- as the hotel is full...And I'm back to being stuck with a smoking room, even though they CANCELLED out my non-smoking room confirmation themselves...
