Which would be fine if it were just me, or just me and Mrs christep, but doesn't really work when you've invited another friend to a specific restaurant for a meal. What of course I should have done is got them to reverse the charge on my HSBC card and put it on the CitiPremierMiles, but at that point I didn't want to make any more fuss in front of my friend.
