Well spotted!

Unfortunately the $300 conversion fee still applies (see clause D4 comment above).

And the ability to convert HSBC points/RewardCash to MoneyBack points will be removed on 25 Apr (per HSBC CS today).

Sigh...I spend so little on HSBC anyway and definitely won't be spending any more (only for merchants that offer discount for HSBC). Whatever little points I earn I'll convert to Octopus Rewards.
