In Canada, they room is distant from the check point. As well, you can not leave the room til the passenger has left the check point. And I think the image has to be cleared before the door can be opened to the room. As well, in Canada, under 18 means you do NOT go through the scan.
That's interesting. I wonder if the TSA could save some cash by having the images viewed in India or Cambodia.
