These flights won't go away:

1. Sao Paulo is the biggest Japanese-speaking city outside of Japan (I think I'm right)
2. RG and JL have one-stop service to Japan available (JL thru JFK, RG thru LAX). 2-stop (MIA and SEA) is not too bad for loyal AA flyers.
3. Online connections for everyone from deep South America and Florida without cluttering the DFW and ORD flights with those customers (i.e. leaving more seats for folks from the midwest/east)
4. What else are they going to do with the plane?
