If you have a standard westerly approach you'll see little of interest from either side (apart from my ugly flat on the left shortly before you land).

If - with lower probability - you come in easterly, then if it's clear you'll get a great view of the city on the left, and a less great but still impressive view of Canary Wharf on the right that looks so close you think you could touch it.
