Just off hand, the only two OW carriers that I can think of that fly to DPS are CX and QF.

Depending on the day of the week, CX has either 1 or 2 flights/day DPS to HKG:

1. CX 786 DPS-HKG 915A 200P
2. CX 784 DPS-HKG 405P 850P

The problem that you appear to be having is that the flight from DPS to HKG misconnects with the CX flt in HKG to NYC:

CX 888 HKG-NYC 225P 650P

Therefore, amoung the various options available to you, it would appear that you would need to route yourself from HKG back to NYC via LAX... connecting to AA for example... or perform the perfunctory overnite in HKG. This would depend on the rules of the fare that you purchase.

Just as a suggestion, you might use the 'multi-city' function for your booking, and book the return portion DPS-HKG on CX 784. Then request CX 888 for the following day. Since the stopover will be less than 24 hours, I'm thinking that the computer will price the trip as a thru fare.
