I have been charged for my own bottled water when they saw the empty bottle in the trash, charged for "free" internet service, cahrged for parking when I didn't even have a car, carged for telephone service that belonged to the previous guest.....
Hilton did the bottled water thing to me. I purchased a couple of bottles (different from the water in the room, which were STILL THERE when I left)at a store before going to the hotel, drank them, threw them in the trash, and got a 20 dollar fee charged to my card. When I called to inquire, they said it was because they found two empty water bottles in the trash...they agreed to reverse the fee. They have also done the Parking Fee thing when I did not have a car...This kind of nickel/diming stuff is why I avoid Hiltons.
