Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I'm a seasoned traveler (also known as an old dog) but I rarely nest tickets.

But you do bring up a good point. If the US flight is delayed and I miss the UA flight, will UA accomodate this? Or am I SOL since it's two different PNRs?
