Nope. General agreement in the luxury hotel forum is that the luxury hotels in Tokyo are RC, MO, FS Maronouchi, Peninsula, PH, and probably Shangri-La. One modest cut below is the Conrad and GH. Then Strings, Westin, and maybe IC. The sole Crowne Plaza (in beautiful downtown Ikebukuro) isn't even on the list.
Luxury hotels in Tokyo right now are probably the second best bargain in the world, after Bangkok.
